Sarnia’s waterfront is a vital part of the City’s history, identity, and community and if you’ve ever visited the waterfront, you likely have your own reasons why it plays such an important role in the community.
Adopted in 2022, the Downtown Waterfront Master Plan establishes a renewed vision and plan for public waterfront lands from Sarnia Bay Marina and Centennial Park down to Rainbow Park at Devine and Christina Streets. The 15-year plan sets the stage for investment in parkland, marinas, cultural and entertainment facilities, and residential and commercial developments. It aims to facilitate public access, spur private investment, transform Sarnia's economy, and promote civic pride.
