At the September 27, 2024 meeting of the Sarnia Lambton Industrial Alliance (SLIA), two individuals were recognized for their outstanding leadership in the Oversized Load Corridor(OLC) project. Lyle Johnson, Project Manager (on behalf of the City), and Rick Perdeaux, Past Chairman of SLIA and owner of Toolrite Engineering Ltd., received acknowledgment for their significant efforts in driving the initiative forward.

The OLC project is an ambitious endeavor designed to enhance the movement of oversized products by connecting local fabricators to Sarnia Harbour. This project is a vital step toward improving Sarnia’s economic competitiveness and boosting opportunities for local industries.

The recognition given to Rick and Lyle underscores the commitment and collaboration involved in bringing this vision to life. Their leadership has been instrumental in overcoming transportation challenges, paving the way for growth and innovation in the region.

As we celebrate their contributions, we look forward to the next phases of the OLC and the exciting potential it brings to our community.
