For the seventh consecutive year, Lambton College has ranked among the top five research colleges in Canada. Each year Research Infosource issues its Canada’s Top 50 Research Colleges list. This year Lambton ranks:
#1 among medium-sized colleges for the number of paid student research positions (currently at 320) and the number of research partnerships
#1 among medium-sized colleges in Canada for the amount of research income from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada ($10 million over the past three years)
#3 overall for Canadian research colleges for the number of projects implemented each year (300 projects).
#3 for the amount of research income received from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (over $3.2 million over the past three years)
The college also ranked second overall in Ontario based on the number of projects implemented each year.
